Darrell Sheffield

Regional Manager/ Funeral Director

Darrell Sheffield is the Regional Manager for Farmer Funeral Home, R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery and Riley Funeral Home and Crematory in Woodville, TX.  Darrell grew up in Kirbyville and started his funeral career in 1987 during high school. Darrell began assisting with funeral services and the owner highly encouraged him to consider a career in the funeral business due to his caring nature and heart for serving others. He graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston with a degree in funeral science in 1989. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Darrell worked for 30 years in the Houston area as an Area Manager.

Darrell & his wife, Kari, are excited to be working in Silsbee and Woodville. They attend St. Mark Catholic Church in Silsbee. Darrell states "We are glad to be a part of these wonderful communities and funeral home teams. My colleagues and I look forward to providing the most meaningful experience for those going through a loss just as the Farmer and Riley family ALWAYS did."

Ciera Morgan

Manager/Funeral Director

Ciera is a Silsbee native with a heart for service and a deep commitment to supporting families during life’s most difficult moments. She earned her degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from LeNotre Culinary Institute, graduating top of her class. Following a whirlwind career with Disney and Universal Studios, Ciera felt called to a profession rooted in compassion and community care.

Ciera began her career in funeral service in 2021 at Farmer Funeral Home, where she spent five years serving families in Southeast Texas. She joined Riley Funeral Home in Woodville in 2026 and is honored to now serve the families of Tyler County. Ciera is a graduate of the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service, where she earned her degree in Funeral Directing and Embalming in 2023. She takes great pride in helping families feel supported, comfortable, and cared for throughout the funeral planning process, often going above and beyond to ensure their needs are met with dignity and respect.

In her spare time, Ciera enjoys baking, working on puzzles, spending time with her family and friends, and relaxing at home with her sweet pups, Berrett and Fiona, and her boyfriend, Ashton.

Kayleigh Higginbotham

Apprentice Funeral Director

Kayleigh Higginbotham is an apprentice funeral director and embalmer at Riley's Funeral Home, currently pursuing her Associate of Applied Science in Mortuary Science at the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service. With a background as a Certified Nursing Assistant, she brings years of compassionate, hands-on care to the families she serves.

Kayleigh is dedicated to helping families navigate loss with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail, providing support and comfort during life's most difficult moments. She is committed to continuing her education and growing within the funeral service profession to better serve her community in Southeast Texas.

Outside of her work, Kayleigh enjoys working out, playing Fortnite, and spending quality time with her family. Her balance of dedication to her career and appreciation for life outside of work reflects her genuine and caring nature.

Robin is recently new to the area, with a passion for music, gardening, cooking, and exploring the outdoors. As a funeral assistant, she is focused on compassion and care during life's most difficult moments.
