Wilbert “Bill” Henry Marmion III,66, of Colmesneil, Texas, passed awayon July 10, 2024, in Houston, Texas.
Bill was born on August 3, 1957, to Wilbert, Jr. and Rosemary Marmion. A former resident of Houston, he had lived in Colmesneil for the past seven years. He loved country living and especially loved his horses. Bill had an amazing work ethic and loved to seek out new challenges. He had an incredible ability to master just about anything he set his mind to. He loved people and enjoyed connecting with others and making friends wherever he went.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert, Jr., and Rosemary Marmion, and by his son, Ryan Marmion.
He is survived by his loving wife, of almost 40 years, Ellen Raidl; daughters, Shannon Milligan Hawthorne of Beaumont, Texas, and Julia Landry and husband, Eddie of Dripping Springs, Texas; son, Seth Landry of Rosenburg, Texas; sisters, Laura Marmion and husband, Robert Woodum of Belton, Texas, Sherry Marmion Boecher of Kansas and Sydney Weaver and husband, Pat of Odessa Texas; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life visitation will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 1 pm until 3 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville.
Services are held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home, Woodville, Texas.
