Weetau Sharon Renfrow

Weetau Sharon Renfrow, 86, of Woodville passed away peacefully on June 5, 2022.

Weetau was born July 23, 1935 in Dallas, Texas to John and Eva Cummings.  She met the love of her life, Millard “M.D.” Renfrow and they were married June 9, 1953.  He preceded her in death in 2018.  She and M.D. lived in Carrollton, Texas and attended the Webb Chapel Church of Christ from 1964 until they moved to Woodville in 2012.  She retired from the Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD as a secretary after 22 years of service.  After moving to Woodville they joined the Woodville Church of Christ where they were active in the church for many years.  Weetau loved her family with her whole heart.

Weetau was preceded in death by her parents, John Calvin Cummings and Eva Abrams Cummings; husband, Millard “M.D.” Renfrow; son, Dwayne Renfrow.

She is survived by her loving sons, David Renfrow and Darren Renfrow; brothers, Bernie Cummings and Lynn Cummings; grandchildren, Beth Bauer, Allyson Renfrow-Sheard, Sacha Heflin, Linda Basil, Justin Belcher and Susan Wardle and numerous great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 1 pm at the Wooodville Church of Christ with Brother Keith Bellamy officiating.  Burial will follow at the Camp Ground Cemetery in Woodville.  Visitation will be held Thursday from 12 noon until the 1 pm.

Serving as pallbearers will be Darren Renfrow, Brian Bauer, Brent Simmons, Keith Bauer, Kody Bassett and Josh Renfrow.
