Vernon Henry Richard

Vernon Henry Richard, 85, of Woodville passed away July 28, 2022.

Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Vernon lived in Ivanhoe for 22 years.  He was a U. S. Marine Veteran who served his country proudly.  A true businessman, he worked hard to provide for his family having owned a sand blasting and paint shop, a tire shop and worked in sales with his brother.  Vernon was a Godly man who loved his Lord and Savior and was a member of the Church of God World Wide Association. 

Vernon was preceded in death by his parents,  Otto and Ethel Mae Richard and a son, Jay Richard.

He is survived by his loving wife, Audrey Richard; son, Joe Richard; daughter, Judy Richard; brother, Larry Richard and numerous grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at 10 am at the Old Hardin Cemetery with Brother Gary Black officiating.
