Vera Loree Shavers

Vera Loree Shavers, 88, of Silsbee passed away peacefully on November 10, 2021.

Born in Bowie, Texas to Speeden and Doris Jones, she lived in Silsbee most of her life.  Vera loved to fish, travel and spend time reading a good book.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew and loved her.

Vera was preceded in death by her parents, Speeden and Doris Jones, Melvin Kenneth Shavers, Sr. and a daughter, Pamela Kay Granger.

She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Sherrilynne Morris and husband, Justin; son, Kenny Shavers and wife, Jan; sister, Elaine Jones; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
