Travis "TallBoy" A. Broom

Travis A. ”TallBoy” Broom, 79 of Woodville passed away September 27, 2023.

Born and raised in Woodville, Travis retired as a truck driver after 45 years of service.  He loved watching football, working his cows and driving his tractor. Travis loved our Lord and Savior and attended Dogwood Hills Baptist Church and Shady Grove Church where he worshiped wholeheartedly.

Travis is survived by his loving daughter, Angie Garrett and husband, Robert of Lufkin; grandchildren, Fallon Minichiello and husband, Joe of Jacksonville, FL., Danielle Garrett of Lufkin and Kiley Garrett of Lufkin; great grandchild, William Minichiello and a host of other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, October 1, 2023, at 2 pm at the Camp Ground Cemetery with Brother Larry Trest officiating.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Robert Garrett, Eloy Gomez, Jimbo Smith, Dalton Shackelford, Jace Shackelford, James Shackelford, Jordan Shackelford and William Shackelford.
