Tonie Annette Havard

Tonie Annette Havard, 79, of Spurger passed away peacefully unto her Lord on July 20, 2023.

Born in Ft. Worth, Texas to Athel and Mildred Reid, she lived in Town Bluff for many years.  She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Spurger where she served as the coordinator for the benevolence food team, the fellowship team and member of the prayer chain.   Tonie loved being outside with her dogs and working in her vegetable garden and the many beautiful flowers she had around her home.  She sewed love in the many quilts she made for her family and friends.  She loved her family unconditionally and with her whole heart being the glue that held them together. Tonie was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas A. Reid and Mildred E. Cagle Reid, brother, Thomas Reid, sister-in-law, Rhonda Reid and a brother-in-law, Bobby Havard.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Marion O. Havard; children, Beth Robinson and husband, Joe of Conroe, Monnie Havard of Conroe and Robert Havard and wife, Portia of Deer Park; grandchildren, Tommy, Nathan, David, Daniel, Justin, Shelby, Caytlin; ten great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 10 am at the First Baptist Church in Spurger with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Town Bluff.  Visitation will be held Monday, July 24, 2023, from 5 pm until 7 pm at the church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Havard, Tommy Records, Nathan Brewer, David Records, Daniel Havard and Justin Havard.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Shelby Robinson and Caytlin Stary.
