Timothy "Tim" Neil Mitchon

Timothy “Tim” Neil Mitchon, 63, of Colmesneil passed away June 4, 2023.

Born in Houston, Texas to Melvin and Martha Mitchon, he lived in Colmesneil for many years.  Tim was a kindhearted man who loved the outdoors.   He loved all wildlife and enjoyed being on the river fishing waiting to go around the next bend to see what nature had to offer.  He loved his family and friends.

Tim is survived by his loving parents, Melvin and Martha Mitchon; brothers, Anthony Mitchon and wife, Maureen, Keith Mitchon and Melvin Mitchon, Jr; sisters, Debra Sermons and husband, David, Cynthia Stewart, Beverly Jefferson and husband, Chris, Gwen Killingsworth, Cecilia Sterling and husband, Steve, Michelle Martin and husband, Scott, Myra Parrish and husband, Allen and Vivian Davis and husband, Leonard; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 2 pm at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at the Mitchon Double M Cemetery in Colmesneil, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Anthony Mitchon, Melvin Mitchon, Jr., Steven Sterling, I, Chris Jefferson, Leonard Davis, and Randy Graham.
