Timothy Lynn Hicks

Timothy Lynn Hicks, 64, of Livingston passed away peacefully on May 3, 2023.

He was born in Kountze, Texas to James and Violet Hicks.  Timothy loved his family and everyone who met him knew how proud he was of each one.  An avid outdoorsman, he loved to fish and hunt especially in the Hill Country.  He grew beautiful gardens that produced bountiful vegetables that he shared with his family and friends.  Timothy’s carpentry skills are seen and known throughout southeast Texas in the many homes and businesses that he helped to build. 

Timothy is survived by his gal, Melissa Celestine of Livingston; brother, Paul Hicks and wife, Judy of Spurger; sisters, Sonja Hicks of Lumberton and Gladys Crawford and husband, J. T. of Warren; step children, Jennifer Celestine, Christina Celestine, Matthew Celestine, Cheyanne Jones and husband, Cameron and Sammy Gore; grandchildren, Cyprus “Ottosee” Jones and Yelena Zo Jones and numerous other family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
