Shirley Fay Foxworth Sinclair, 85, of Lufkin, formerly of Woodville, passed away on October 5, 2024.
Born in Woodville, Texas, to Charlie and Willie Mae Foxworth, she lived in Tyler County most of her life. After many years of working, she retired as a secretary. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew and loved her.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Preston Foxworth and Willie Mae Dean Foxworth; husband, William Sinclair; son, Stephen Scott Sinclair; sisters, Peggy Chandler and Joan Marie Dies; brothers, Robert Eugene Foxworth, Charlie James Foxworth, Jerry Allen Foxworth and Roger Dale Foxworth.
Her loving family survives her: daughter Karen King of Fayetteville, AR; grandchildren Jason Hillhouse and wife, Molli Ann of Arkansas, Michael Hillhouse and wife, Sherry of Pinehurst, Kevin Sinclair and wife, Vanessa of Rosenberg, Lance Hillhouse and wife, Casey of Houston; sisters Ann Caldwell of Lufkin and Dorothy Mae Stephens of Woodville; brothers Bryan Keith Foxworth of Huntington, Joseph Lynn Foxworth of Oklahoma, John Thomas Foxworth of Woodville, and Larry Preston Foxworth of Oklahoma; and numerous other family members and friends.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, October 13, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at the Campground Cemetery in Woodville. Visitation will be held Sunday from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
