Sheila Jo Smith

Sj (Sheila) Smith, 71, of Ivanhoe, Texas joined her Heavenly Father on September 22, 2020 at 7:07 AM.  She is survived by her sister, Karen Smith Williams, also of Ivanhoe, and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Sis was born on July 14, 1949 to Bert Mayo Smith and Maxine Inez Stevens. The smith girls loved to hunt and fish and spent many weeks fishing in Minnesota and Canada each year with their parents. After graduation Sheila attend Marshalltown Jr College,  then in 1978 followed her retired Parents to Milam, Texas on Toledo Bend Lake. She worked for Lufkin Typewriter and Cash register until their closing. She loved East Texas and will be sorely missed.

Sis had previously suffered from stage 4 breast cancer and a benign spinal tumor which rendered her wheelchair bound until her passing.

Services are held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home and Crematorium.
