Sharon Rene’ Gambrell, 69, of Woodville passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 13, 2022.
Born January 30, 1953 in Orange, Texas to Tommy Day and Jeanette Dartez, she was raised by F. B. “Sonny” and Jeanette Kimball in Groves. She moved to Woodville to be closer to her family. Sharon enjoyed gardening, singing and was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. With music always playing at home, she loved cooking for the whole neighborhood and always considered her friends her family.
Sharon was survived by her loving family, husband, Todd Gambrell of Woodville; sons, Jason Werner of Groves and Ethan Werner and wife, Michelle of Groves; daughter, Rachel Hadnot and husband, Micah of Woodville; brother-in-law, Eric Gambrell and wife, Laurie of Groves; sisters, Julia Pruett of Burkeville and Tammy Cox of Tyler; grandchildren, Isaac Werner and fiancé, Brook, Mia Werner, Cory Werner and fiancé, Ryan, Seth Werner and fiancé, Brooke, Lyric Gambrell,Hayden Hunter, Quentyn Haley, Autumn Hadnot and Marcus Hadnot; great grandchildren, Korbyn Werner, Gracelynn Werner and Aeson Bean; nieces and nephews, Eric, Courtney, Suni, Constance, Jessica and Krista and a host of other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held Friday, June 17, 2022, at 10 am at the Beech Creek Cemetery in Spurger. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Charles “Red” Bailey, Brett Champagne, Ronnie Cole, Eric Gambrell, Dennis English, Jonathan Harriford and Eric Kimball. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Audi Armentor, Kenneth “Whitey” Granger and Parrish Romero.
