Sharon Mayer Chance

Sharon Chance of Warren, Texas born  October 24, 1952, living an extremely full life was called home to be with our Lord. 

Sharon is a wife, mother, grandmother and  great grandmother. Sharon is preceded in death by her daughter Anna Lanette Chance, Mother Shirley Stephenson, Father Frank Mayer, Step dad Dan Stephenson, sister Catherine Warren, brother Frank Mayer Jr..

Sharon is survived by her husband of 54 years George Chance Sr. during their 54 year marriage Sharon and George created an extremely large and beautiful family consisting of their,  Son George Chance Jr. his wife Beth Chance, Their Children Brianna Chance, Shannon Chance, Jonathan Chance, Anthony Miller, Elizabeth Cain, KyAnna Chance. Their Daughter Randie Davis and her husband Stephen Davis and their children, Brandon Guidry, Breatt Guidry( Chalsea), Dakota Davis, Brittannie Davis, Erica Carroll(Dustin). Their Daughter Wendy Holmes and her children Katelyn Richardson(Kiyoshi), Caylib Hahn, Londen Holmes. Their Daughter Christy Parr and her husband Willis Parr and their children, Bradley Parr(Skye), Hunter Parr, Trevor Parr, Nicholas Parr, Chayce Parr. Sharon is also survived by 15 Great Grand Children. Sharon spent her days  loving her family and enjoying her time with the love of her life and playing with all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her and went out of her way to help others.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, July 20, 2025, at 12 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel.  A graveside service will be held Sunday at 3:30 pm at the Broussard’s Cemetery in Hamshire, Texas.  Visitation will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 5 pm until 8 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel.
