Sharon Kay Adams, 69, of Spurger passed away October 29, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Born in Beaumont, Texas to the late Vernon and Helen Gibson, she lived in Spurger for many years. Kay enjoyed researching genealogy and discovering amazing things about her family. She enjoyed traveling especially to Niagra Falls, gardening and looking for four leaf clovers. Her grandchildren all knew that she was their biggest supporter because she loved cheering them on at all their sporting events. She loved her family unconditionally.
Kay is survived by her loving husband, Larry Adams; children, Brian Adams and wife, Lisa of Silsbee, Crystal Brooke Terry of Fred, April Adams Russell and husband, Joshua of Fred; sisters, Patricia Nolan of Hemphill, June Barbosa of Port Arthur and Janice Bucklin of Port Acres; brother, Vernon Gibson, Jr. of Silsbee; grandchildren, Kyle Adams, Cody Adams, Keelee Day, Kennedy Flowers, Ethan Terry, Dylan Terry and Kutler Russell; five great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 2 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with James Odom officiating. Burial will follow at the Beech Creek Cemetery in Spurger. Visitation will be held Monday, October 31, 2022, from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Adams, Cody Adams, Ethan Terry, Dylan Terry, Ty Eddins, and Tyler Moore.
