Ronald "Ronnie" Lynn Weeks

Ronald Lynn “Ronnie” Weeks, 77, of Colmesneil passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on May 13, 2024.

Born August 12, 1946 in Hillister, Texas to Richard “Boss” Weeks and Aileen Riley Weeks, he lived in Tyler County all of his life.  He was retired from Huntsman as a maintenance supervisor.  He was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church.  He was a lifetime member of the Masonic Snow River Lodge #385 Spurger, Texas and a U.S. Army Veteran. 

Ronnie loved his Lord and Savior and always helped others as the Lord had taught.  He was a hard worker who passed his many skills down to his grandchildren.  He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and watching baseball.  He loved his family  and spending time with them whether it was camping, fishing or just sitting in his shop telling stories. 

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Boss Weeks; mother, Aileen Riley Weeks Harris; brothers, Bugs Weeks, Skippy Weeks and Robert Brock; sister, Patricia Fortenberry and one great grandchild, Noah Littlepage.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Janice Weeks; daughters, Alicia Perry and husband, Ben of Grangerland and Shelley Rhodes of Colmesneil,; seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren who he loved dearly and a host of other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 2 pm at the Ebenezer Cemetery in Colmesneil, Texas.  Visitation will be held 1 pm until 2 pm at the cemetery.
