Ronald Earl Hilton

Ronald Earl Hilton, passed away August 15, 2024, at the age of 64.  

Ronald was born February 25, 1960 in Port Arthur, Texas to Raymond and Sarah “Jane” Hilton.  

He grew up in Port Neches where he lived until moving to the camp. He loved living up there and enjoyed working outside almost every day. In his younger years, he will be remembered for being a great source of laughs!  He loved classic shows like I Love Lucy, Andy Griffith, and Bonanza. Another favorite of Ronald’s was homemade food!  He really enjoyed chicken fried steak and homemade rolls. He also loved taking pictures. He would always whip out his phone or iPad to document every occasion. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Sarah “Jane" Hilton; and his sister Debbie Basham.

He is survived by his brother in law Frank Basham Sr.; sister Tina Trahan and husband Lou; nieces Crystal Vickers and husband Curtis; Janine Marshall and husband Justin; Jeanie Wilson, Caitlin Trahan, nephews, Frank Basham Jr. and wife Candi;  Cory Trahan and wife Brittany; great nieces and great nephews Khyla Vickers, Cade Vickers and Kearston Vickers; Grace Basham and Aiden King, Jake Marshall, and Jax Marshall; Wyatt Wilson, Ava Trahan, and Luke Trahan.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in Liberty Hill Memorial Garden Cemetery, 1823-1937  SH-147 San Augustine, Texas.
