Robert Allen “Bob” Eaves, Jr., 67, of Colmesneil, Texas passed away on March 17. 2022 at Nacogdoches Memorial in Nacogdoches, Texas after a long illness.
Bob as he liked to be called was born on January 12, 1955 to R. A. Eaves, Sr. and Vivian Lee McDaniel. He is remembered by his family and friends as a caring and loving sweetheart. Bob loved to post jokes on Face book and read the reactions of the people he made laugh. Bob wore many hats but the best one he wore was the one that said Pawpaw. He loved the outdoors and couldn’t wait to go fishing and hunting every chance he got.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his step father, Aria McDaniel; step sister, Lisa McDaniel, his grandson, Clay Ethan Eaves and nephew, Christopher Eaves.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Darla of 31 ½ years; his sons, Bobby Eaves and wife, Jennifer of Ragely, LA, Joe Eaves and wife, Misty of Wylie, Tx, Jared Eaves and Troy Eaves and wife, Kelly of Colmesneil, Tx; siblings, Carolyn Wigley of Jasper, Tx, Patsy Prisner and husband, Dick of Grand Junction, CO, Janice Weeks and husband, Ronnie of Colmesneil, Nan Grissom and husband John of Jasper, Paul Eaves and wife, Melinda of Orange; step brother, Ray Pau l McDaniel and wife, Rose of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Haille, Jordan, Loren, Jaslyn, Emma, Lori, Olivia, Mileena and the caboose, Noah Clay; brothers-in-law, Quentin Blanchard and wife, Bonita of Kinder, LA and Farrell Blanchard of Johnson Bayou, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held Monday, March 21, 2022 at 11 am at the Riley Funeral Home with Brother Anthony Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the Fellowship Cemetery in Warren, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 3 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Eaves, Joe Eaves, Jared Eaves, Troy Eaves, Paul Eaves and Danny Joe Reider.
