Robert Timothy Grannis

Robert Timothy Grannis, 57, of Woodville passed away May 23, 2021.

Born May 31, 1963 in Houston, Texas to Theodore and Lorine Grannis, he lived in Dayton before moving to Woodville two years.  Robert worked all over the country with his brother, Jim Ling, as a glazier.  His love was hot rod trucks, horses, and artwork.  He enjoyed fishing and making family and friends laugh with his good natured joking.  Robert helped not only his family but anyone who was in need.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Lorine Grannis.

He is survived by his sisters, Sharon Mills of Woodville and Patricia Nesbit of Dayton; brothers, Jim Ling of Colmesneil, Lonnie Ling of Colmesneil and Wayne Ling of Denton; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at 11 am at the Colmesneil City Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Dogwood Manors Nursing Home and the Olive Branch Hospice for the excellent care given to Robert during this difficult time.
