Richard Wayne “Tino” Gore, 67, of Woodville passed away January 12, 2024.
Born in Fred, Texas to Harvey and Dorothy Gore, he lived in Tyler County all of his life. He worked in the logging industry for many years. Tino loved his family, had a huge heart and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He always forgave people knowing that it was the right thing to do.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Gore and Dorothy Cravey Gore; wife, Thelma Gore; sister, Harvey Nell Jenkins; grandson, James Oliver Gore; step son, Clyde Chaddick, Jr. and step grandson, Richard Chaddick.
He is survived by his loving family, son, Anthony “Tony” Gore and wife, Jaime of Spurger; daughter, Martha Tubbs and husband, Ricky of Lufkin; brothers, Donnie Jenkins and wife, Hope of Woodville, Ronnie Jenkins and wife, Rose of Spurger, Harvey Gore and wife, Lisa of Woodville; sisters, Mary Colley and husband, Randall of Woodville, Peggy Reid of Woodville and Alene Moncrief of Woodville; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 1 pm at Riley Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger, Texas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 11 am until 1 pm at the funeral home.
