Rhonda Hall Flock Obituary

Rhonda Joy Hall Flock, 63 of Baytown, Texas joined our Heavenly Father on June 23, 2021.

She was born on October 22, 1957 in Port Arthur, Texas to Darrell Hall and Joy Getzie. Rhonda lived in Baytown, Texas and it was a special place to her. She raised her two girls and remained in their childhood home up until her passing. She worked very hard, rigorous hours, at a demanding pace. She set examples for everyone who knew her. She loved the beach, The Texas Renaissance Festival, arts and crafts, gardening, cooking and baking. She was such a servant to the Lord and she would tell you all about it anytime you saw her. She wanted you to know God’s Word. Rhonda was a twenty-plus year survivor of Breast Cancer. She didn’t just survive, though, she thrived. She was very proud to have beat that horrible disease. She was so full of joy and such a bright light to everyone that came across her. You knew when you met Rhonda that your life would be a happier place. She would smile with the kind of sincerity you only hope to see. Her dimples would shine. She would encourage you and embrace you.

She is preceded in death by her precious mother, Joy Getzie, whom she loved dearly and looked forward to joining one day.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Kahna Joy Wentzel (Jason) and Kara Joy Wolfe (Lawrence). She leaves behind 6 grandchildren who will miss her presence every day; Dylan Lee Pool, Logan Thomas Satterwhite, Zoe Alexa Harper, Kami Layla Smith and Abby Joy Cline. She also has bonus grandchildren, Tyler, Mason and Baylee Wolfe. She is also survived by her father, Darrell Hall and her “second mother”, Hazel Hall. She also leaves behind to treasure her memory, her siblings; Curtis Hall and wife Martha, Darinda Ellender, Tammy Harris and husband, Lanam, Doug Rice and wife, Valerie, Deanna Coats and husband Mike, Kimberly Rice and Kristina Bell and husband, Dr. Christopher Bell. Rhonda leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and too many friends to count. She loved these people and each one of these names listed meant the world to her.

Her graveside service will be held Friday, July 2, 2021,  at 11 a.m. at the Shady Grove Cemetery in Woodville, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Wentzel, Lawrence Wolfe, Dylan Pool, Nate Williamson, Dr. Justin Rice and Nick Bell. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Caden Hall and Lucas Brown.
