Phyllis Ann Sellers, 91, of Spurger passed away August 22, 2021.
Born October 4, 1929 in Boston, Mass. to Henry and Lottie Chura, she lived in many places being a veteran’s daughter having survived Pearl Harbor attack at the age of 12. She was a graduate of the University of Texas. Phyllis was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 2033. She loved all manners of crafts including sewing, crocheting, needle work, etc. and was an avid domino player.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lottie Chura; first husband, Robert E. McKee; brother, Alfred Chura; step daughter, Susan Blanton and step son, Danny Sellers.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Dale Sellers; sons, Alan McKee and wife, Sherry and Randy McKee and wife, Krissy; step daughters, Donna Kersh and husband, Tim and Lori Hudgins and husband, Sammy; honorary daughter, Cyndi Sellers; step son, Barry Seller and wife, Sharon; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friend.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 26, 2021, at 11 am at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:30 am until the time of the service.
