Peggy Blance Cate

March 19, 1933 - August 6, 2021

Peggy Blanche Cate was born in Circleback, Texas to Letha and Lester Price. She was known as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her passions were reading, crocheting, baking and gardening.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 70 years, Tom; daughters Teri, Toni, and Ann, son Michael; grandchildren Karen, Kristen, Darral, and Meg; great grandsons Gavin and Ian; and sisters, Judy Fields and Beth Bellamy.

She enjoyed traveling the world with Tom for several years before he took early retirement. For 35 years, she loved the 17 acres in the East Texas Piney Woods near Woodville that they called home, from building their house and fishing in their pond, to planting a beautiful stand of pine trees.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Riley Funeral Home in Woodville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the World Wildlife Fund
