Pauline Elizabeth Watson, 88, of Houston, Texas, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024, in Houston, Texas.
Pauline Elizabeth Watson was born to A.C. and Nora Hancock on October 13, 1936, in Chester, Texas. She was the second born of three girls, between her two sisters, Dorothy Elaine and Jackie Cowart. Pauline attended school at the Chester school district and graduated in 1955. She was married in 1953
to Kenneth Watson and they enjoyed 54 ½ years together. Pauline had a talent and passion for playing the piano. Believing in the Lord, she loved attending church every Sunday to play the piano.
She and Kenneth moved to Houston and had four children together, daughter, Deborah Kay Watson, sons, Gregory Allen Watson and Gary Watson, Sr. and another daughter, Patricia Gail Anglin. They also had two grandchildren, beloved grandson, Gary Watson, Jr., and granddaughter, Kayla Watson; and one great granddaughter, Brianna Frakes.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 1 pm until service time at 2 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville, Texas. Officiating will be Brother Gary Forrest. Burial will follow at Mahaffey Cemetery in Chester.
Services are under the direction of Riley Funeral Home.
