Paula Sue Davis

Paula Sue Davis, 65, of Woodville passed away December 29, 2021.

Born August 28, 1956 in Houston, Texas to Phillip and Mary Davis, she lived in Tyler County all of her life.  She was a retired R.N. with over 30 years of service.  She enjoyed spending time with her birds.  She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and  cherished them greatly.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip Bailey Davis and Mary Lou Ellen Riddle Johannessen, step-father, Joe Johannessen and a granddaughter, Chayia Allison Jurecek.

She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Mitchell and husband, Chris of Warren and Carrie Jurecek and husband, Johnnie of Port Neches; grandchildren, Heather Hooks and husband, David of Fred, Alyssa Kelly and husband, Jim of  Lumberton, Hunter Welch of Village Mills, Christian Jurecek and Alexis Whitmire of Port Neches; great grandchildren, Kayden Avery Hooks, Kyler David Hooks, Cameron Jake Kelly and Luca Jude Whitmire; sisters, Phyllis Kirkland and husband, Woody of Diboll, Cynthia Sims of Jasper, Christy Owens and husband, Robert of Woodville; and a host of other family members and friends.
