Paul Evans the Warren ISD Transportation Foreman and district employee of over 20 years. Resident of Woodville, TX passed away unexpectedly on Friday June 25, 2021 at the age of 51.
Paul is survived by his mother Jinnie Evans; wife of 25 years Kati Evans; his sons Cody Evans and wife Helena and Kobi Evans and wife Courtney; his four grandchildren, Jayden, Jayse, Jaythan, and Jordyn Evans; brothers Alex and Kenneth Evans and sister Sarah White and a host of other family and friends.
Paul is predeceased by his father Walter Evans; his brother Timothy Evans; nephew David White; father-in-law, Don Elliott and brother-in-law Clayton Elliott.
Paul was born in Deer Park, TX on October 3, 1969 to Walter and Jinnie Evans. He graduated from Deer Park High School in 1988. On August 3, 1996 he married Kati and started the new chapter in his life.
Paul was a devoted father, grandfather, and husband. For all that knew him, he was a very driven and hard working person who often took on large tasks at work and at home. Over the years he has been involved in mentoring many young students as well as inmates about life, discipline, and having a strong work ethic. Paul loved to fish, spend time outdoors and participate in anything that involved classic cars, or even trying out new car washes. He also enjoyed watching his sons play sports and accomplish their goals. The one thing Paul loved most was just spending time with friends and family and playing with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at 4:00pm, with visitation at 3p.m. at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Camp Ground Cemetery in Woodville.
Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Evans, Kobi Evans, Chris Hill, Kyle Harris, David Sessums, Raymond Anthony, Gary Bristol and David Perkins. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Ashton Harris and Dewayne White.
