Opal Kimling Obituary
Opal Lee Kimling, 89, of Lumberton passed away March 12, 2021.
Born October 6, 1931 in Galveston, Texas to William and Ruvel Axelson, she lived in Lumberton for many years. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew and loved her.
Opal was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruvel Irene Axelson and her husband.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Jerrie Teel and husband, James of Lumberton; grandchildren, Jennifer Kincade and husband Allen of League City and Brian Battistoni and wife Crystalle of Austin; great grandchildren, Nicholas Brenan, Noah Battistoni and Ashton Battistoni; sisters, Wanda Cotton and Joyce Pearce and numerous other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cremation services are held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home and Crematorium.
