Norma Jean Ortiz Tousha

Norma Jean Ortiz Tousha, 62, of Corrigan passed away May 20, 2023.

Born in Beaumont, Texas to George and Veronica Ortiz, Sr, she lived in Corrigan for many years.  Norma enjoyed going to garage sales, collecting cook books and her Dachshunds.  She always put others ahead of her own needs and was taking care of people whether her own family  and friends or a stranger who needed help.   When she worked at the school, she took care of her “kids” who loved her as their own grandmother.  But Norma especially loved her family and her grandkids who she said were the light of her life.

Norma is survived by her loving husband, Joe Tousha; children, Marcella Kimball and husband,  James of Corrigan, Aaron Michael Ortiz of Corrigan and Georganna Cox and husband, Colton of Corrigan; grandchildren, Pablo Kimball, Judd Cox, Cole Cox, Peyton Kimball, Rachael Cox and John Kimball; and a host of other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 1 pm at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Corrigan.  Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 am until 12 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Aaron Michael Ortiz, Colton Neal Cox, James Ray Kimball, Isaih Velasquez, Ambrose Cardenas, Anthony Gonzales, George Michael Ortiz, Jr. and Joseph Hernandez.

Services are held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home, Woodville, Texas.
