Nancy Caroline Page, 81, of Woodville, passed away April 4, 2025.
Born in Newton, Texas, to Andrew and Mabel Knighton, she lived in Woodville for 41 years. Nancy worked in construction while living in the Baytown area before moving to Woodville, where she worked as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) at the Orchard Assisted Living home. While in Baytown, she was active in the school's PTA, ensuring that everything was done correctly, not just for her children, but for every child.
When the family moved to Woodville, she became known as the neighborhood mom. She ensured that every child was fed, safe, and well cared for. She loved to cook and made sure that everyone who was in need or just needed a pick-me-up was well-fed. She was an avid reader, especially of mysteries. Her strong Christian faith is what made her the wife, mother, grandmother, sister, caretaker of children, and friend to all who knew and loved her.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Enoch Knighton; her mother, Mabel Lewis; her granddaughter, Alexis Page; and four sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by her loving husband, Johnny L. Page; sons, Johnny W. Page and wife, Jennifer of Montgomery, Christopher Page and wife, Maria of Arizona and Steven Page of Ivanhoe; sister, Helen McBee of Swinney; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
Cremation services are held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home.
