Myrtle Lewis Dickey, 87, passed away surrounded by loved ones at Dogwood Trails Manor on March 14, 2020.
She was born in a little log cabin in Woodville in 1933, the baby of ten children. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her husband Donald Dickey, parents Lee Merton & Oceola Lewis, brothers Cotton Lewis, Lonzo Lewis, Bud Lewis, & Velton Lewis, sisters Lela West, Ada Stephenson, & Pearl Sanders.
She is survived by sisters Nora Marshall of Fannett & Edna Bramblett of Spurger, children Donald Dickey of Woodville, Valerie Tucker and husband Preston Tucker of Woodville, Kevin Dickey of Woodville, grandchildren Jon Phillips of Woodville, Pam Phillips-Norris and husband Doug Norris of Woodville, Paul Dickey of Woodville, Aaron Dickey and wife Tiffany of Woodville, Ashley Foxworth & husband Charles Clark of Woodville, great grand children Kimberlyn Warner, Kaitlyn & Aaron Castillo, Bethany Phillips, Shelby Dickey, Mackenzie Dickey, Jewelia Foxworth, Kayden Foxworth, Landon Clark, Ayden Dickey, Remington Dickey, five great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 19, 2020, at 11 am at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Dean Register, Brother Jerry Dubose and David Nungester officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Woodville. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2020, from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jon Phillips, Aaron Dickey, Aaron Castillo, Bethany Phillips, Kaitlyn Phillips and Charles Clark. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Lewis, Gerald Lewis, Roger Marshall, Jerry Yancey, Paul Dickey and Doug Norris
