Mollie Dee Vieau, 85, of Ivanhoe, passed away peacefully at home on January 15, 2026.
Born in Blooming Grove, Texas, to Buford and Dorothy Holliefield, she lived in Ivanhoe for many years. She retired from B.P. Solvay after many years of service. Mollie loved making quilts that she lovingly gave to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who cherish them dearly. Along with traveling and going to the casino, she enjoyed her garden, the bees, and the hummingbirds. Mollie’s family will truly cherish the lovingly made homemade birthday cards that she made special for each grandchild.
Mollie was preceded in death by her father, Buford Holliefield; mother, Dorothy Neal Holliefield; son, Thomas E. Pyle and wife, Linda Pyle; and sister, Threasa Beck.
Mollie is survived by her loving husband, Edward Vieau; son, Troy N. Pyle and wife, Susan; daughter, Tonya Pyle; grandson, Josh Mobley and wife, Melissa; granddaughter, Melissa Naqvi and husband, Asad; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Parker, Thaddeus, and Atticus, and a host of other family members and friends.
Cremation services are held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home, Woodville, Texas.
