Mitch Holmes

On December 28, 2020, Mitchell Ray Holmes, loving husband, son, father and grandfather passed away from COVID-19 at the age of 62, in Livingston, Texas.

Mitch was born on March 27, 1958 in Beaumont Tx. to Roland and Betty Holmes.

Mitch was a motorcycle and side by side enthusiast. He loved to gather with family and friends and go on rides at the mud park. Mitch loved to hunt, attend gospel and other music concerts, drag racing and UFC fights. Mitch’s favorite past time was spending time with his family and friends especially his grandchildren.

Mitch was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eddie and Thelma Duff, father, Jessie Roland Holmes, sister, Lisa McNeely and son Jacob Holmes.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Holmes, wife, Cathi Holmes, son and daughter-in-law and 2 granddaughter’s, Joshua, Kristi, Raylan and McKenzie Holmes, step-son, Devyn Russell, step-son and daughter-in-law and 2 grandson’s , Ashton, Chasity, Noah and Branson Russell, nephew, Jessie Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews, and family and friends.

Service will be held at Riley Funeral Home at 913 U.S. Hwy 190, Woodville, TX. 75979.

Funeral: Sunday, January 3, 2021

Visitation: 12:00pm-2:00pm

Service: 2:00pm with graveside service immediately following at Fellowship Baptist Cemetery.
