Mildred Elizabeth Malina, 92, of Woodville passed away September 27, 2021.
Born February 2, 1929 in Pasadena, Texas to John and Pearl Lane, she lived in Ivanhoe for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Warren and worked at Wal-Mart in Woodville where everyone knew her by her outgoing personality. Mildred enjoyed book clubs and playing in card clubs being known as the player who won at no cost. She always had fun at everything she did whether babysitting, playing cards or enjoying her time with friends.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, John Lane and Pearl Kirby Lane; husband, Robert B. Malina; son, Byron Malina; sister, Jessie Meng and brother John Lane.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Christy Heimsath of Austin and Kathy Calmia of Dallas; grandchildren, Malina Pearson, Ricky Pearson, Kathryn Heimsath, Charlie Heimsath and Serena Heimsath; great grandchildren, Kacie Marie Heimsath, Liam and Austen Heath and Addy Carrey; and a host of other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
