Michael Francis Campbell, 76, of Woodville passed away February 1, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones and friends.
Born in Darby, Pennsylvania to Edward and Dorothy Campbell, he lived in Ponderosa Gardens for many years. He was a US Navy veteran who proudly served on the USS Macdonough DD-341. He retired from Martin Transportation after 52 years of driving a truck to spend his time with the loved of his life, Sharon. Michael enjoyed golf and riding motorcycles with Sharon and the members of the Priest Hood Motorcycle Ministry. Michael was a member of the Hilltop Baptist Church where he served his Lord and Savior. He loved his family but especially his grandchildren who he was very proud of.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Campbell and Dorothy Graham Campbell and brothers, Richard Campbell and Patrick Campbell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Sharon Brown Campbell; daughters, Lisa Wingender and husband, Frank of Glen Mills, Penn; sons, Michael Campbell of Washington, DC and Bobby Campbell and wife, Sheila of Woodville; grandchildren, Francis Voshelle and Michael Voshelle of Glen Mills, Penn, Savanah Niemtschk and husband, Jeremy of San Diego, CA and Ransom Campbell of Woodville, Texas; siblings, Dave Campbell, Joanne Friend, Ripper Campbell, Terri Alvisi, Rene Barry, Dottie Adams, Mary Ann Phillip and Rosie Campbell; and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 1 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bob Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the Ferrell Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, February 3, 2023, from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Casey Rawls, Ransom Campbell, Alan Cunningham, Jason Richards, Roy Blalock and Ernie Gallier.
