Melvin Leslie Harris

Melvin Leslie Harris, 90, of Bon Weir passed away Wednesday December 11, 2019.

He was born February 10, 1929 in Call, Texas to the late Enice “Bug” and Fannie Harris.  Melvin was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Sandford.

Melvin is survived by his children, Melvin Eugene Harris and wife Sheila of Columbus, Lynn Leslie Harris, Sr. of Beaumont, Melba Grady and husband Tom of Tulsa, OK, Tony Joe Harris and wife Earline of Buna, Johnny Luke Harris and wife Carol of Hillister, Dianne Wright of Lumberton, Rita Brockman and husband, Rick of Lumberton, Leslie Ray Harris and wife Kara of Buna, Tracy Jane Poland and husband Mark of Buna, James Miller Harris and wife Robin of Buna, Ronald Jay Harris of Houston, Raymond Lee Harris and Shama of Silsbee, Randall Shane Harris; brother, Lavon Harris and wife Mary of Evadale; sister, Vernice (Harris) and husband Horst Cugel of Tampa, FL ; a host of Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, many other family members and Special Friends of the Bon Weir Community.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Wednesday, 6pm at the Silsbee Community Center, 835 Hwy 96 S, Silsbee, Texas, 77656
