Mary Rosier Obituary

Mary Ann Rosier, 83, of Baytown formerly of Ivanhoe passed away January 11, 2021.

Born March 13, 1937 in Newby. Texas to George and Mary Lehman, she lived in Baytown where she worked for the City of Baytown as a tax clerk retiring after 29 years of service.  She was a member and past president of the Texas Municipal Police Wives Association.  In 1993 she and her husband, Glen Rosier, retired to Ivanhoe where she became active within the community.  Mary worked for the Tyler County Emergency Management and was a past member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Doucette.  She loved camping with family, playing dominoes with friends and spending time at the lake.

After the love of her life, Glen Rosier, passed away in 2019, she moved back to Baytown with her daughter.  She became an active member of Second Baptist Church in Baytown and enjoyed spending time with friends in Baytown.  She then divided her time between Baytown and Ivanhoe.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Lehman, husband, Glen Rosier and infant daughter, Lisa Gayle Rosier.

She is survived by her loving children, son, Gerry Wayne Rosier of Newby, Tx and Glynda Dian Rosier of Baytown; and numerous other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held Friday, January 15, 2021, at 10 a.m. at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Steven McBride officiating.  Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Cedar Crest Cemetery in Baytown with Brother Mark Stafford officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Zlomke, Fred Zlomke, David Rosier, George Rosier, Wayne Guest, and Humberto Arellano.
