Mary Frances Herrin Groom

Mary Frances Herrin Groom, 81, of Woodville passed away February 10, 2024.

Born in Orange, Texas to Ottis and Vernie Cornes, she lived in Tyler County for many years.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew and loved her.  Mary truly enjoyed hunting, fishing, her dogs and living on the river.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Ottis Cornes and Vernie Jeans Cornes; brother, Jack Cornes; her husbands, Chester Herrin and Raymond Groom.

She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Guillory and Brandon; sisters, Melva Byrd of Orange and Brenda Lebert of Vidor; grandchildren, Bryce, Landon and Kaydance Guillory, Cameron, Kristen, Colton and Jordan Williams and Lauren Groom; two great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
