Mary Frances Conklin, 83, of Town Bluff passed away January 20, 2022.
Born November 5, 1938 in Talladega, Alabama, she lived in Town Bluff for 20 years. She was a retired nurse’s aide where she enjoyed helping people. A member of Bethel Baptist Church in Jackson Gap, Alabama, she was a God fearing woman who trusted in the Lord for all things. Mary loved to plant flowers to show the world God’s beauty.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Horn and Mary Frances Wade Horn; husband, James Edward Conklin; son, Donald Conklin; mother-in-law, Flora Deenie McMichael Conklin; and her many brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her loving children, Douglas Conklin and wife, Connie and Teri Conklin; grandchildren, Ryan Conklin and Celina Conklin; sister, Margie Harrell; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Gray Hoppe and numbers other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at 10 am at the Lakeside Cemetery in Town Bluff with Brother Davis officiating.
