Marion Otis Havard, 84, of Town Bluff Texas, passed away peacefully unto the Lord July 20, 2025.
Born in Huttig, Arkansas, to Lloyd and Merle Havard. He lived in Town Bluff for many years and was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Spurger, where he served as a deacon and on the benevolence committee with his wife, Tonie. Marion loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and working in the vegetable garden. He enjoyed working with his hands repairing any and all things around the house. It seemed that there was nothing he could not fix or at least make it work. He loved his family and having them get together. His love came unconditionally and without judgment.
Marion was preceded in death by his Wife of 65 years, Tonie Reid Havard, parents Lloyd and Merle Havard, Brother Bobby Havard, sister in-law Tonna, and husband Jimmy Walker, brother-in-law Thomas, and wife Rhonda Reid.
He is survived by his children, Beth Robinson and husband Joe of Willis, Monnie Havard of Conroe, Robert Havard and wife Portia of Town Bluff. Grandchildren Tommy, Nathan, David, Daniel, Justin, Shelby, Caytlin, and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 24th, 2025, at 10 am at First Baptist Church in Spurger with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Town Bluff. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Riley Funeral Home in Woodville
