Mable Jean Hensarling, 90, of Woodville, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026.
Born in San Augustine County, Texas, to James and Laura Holmes, she lived in Woodville for many years. She worked for Keller Industries for 19 years before devoting her time to her own furniture business. She loved being outdoors in her garden, camping, and fishing. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew and loved her.
Mable was preceded in death by her father, James Jethro Holmes; mother, Laura Grace Davis Holmes; Husbands James Rawls and Harold Hensarling; four sisters and two brothers.
Mable is survived by her loving family, daughter, Laura Collins and husband, David; son, James Rawls, Jr. and wife, Mona; step daughters, Elaine Phillips and husband, Roy, Carolyn Moore, and Pat McKee; step-son, Rocky Hensarling and wife, Tewanna; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 2 pm at the Camp Ground Cemetery in Woodville, Texas.
