Linda Marie Umfrid

Linda Marie Umfrid, 78, of Conroe passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024, at her residence. 

Linda was born May 29, 1946, to Harold and Frances Baker in Houston, Texas.  She married Charles Umfrid in 1964 and together, they raised two children.  She was also blessed to be a grandmother and a great grandmother, and she loved her family very much. 

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Frances Baker. 

Linda is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles Umfrid, of Conroe; daughter, Bridget Sanders and husband, Rodney of Conroe; son, Steven Umfrid of The Woodlands; grandchildren, Hailey Villarreal and husband, Alex of Conroe, Cory Sanders of Conroe, Matthew Umfrid and Brandon Umfrid, both of Conroe; great-grandson, Greyson Villarreal of Conroe; and sister, Nelda Sanders of Palestine. 

Funeral services will be held at Riley Funeral Home in Woodville on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 1 pm, with visitation beginning at noon.  Burial will follow at Allison Cemetery in Warren.  Officiating the service will be Brother Robert McClelland.  Serving as pallbearers will be Cory Sanders, Alex Villarreal, Brandon Umfrid and Matthew Umfrid. 

Services are under the direction of Riley Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
