Linda Carroll Davison, 79, of Ivanhoe passed away January 22, 2021.
Born in Houston, Texas to the late Melvin and Laura Davison, she lived in Ivanhoe for many years. She retired from Warren ISD as a teacher in 2005 where she touched the lives of her many students through the years. Linda was a member of the First Baptist Church in Warren and active member of the Ivanhoe community. She loved horses and enjoyed the many hours of riding. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Laura Davison; daughter, Leslie G. Murray-Jennings; grandson, Nathen Jennings; granddaughter, Carmen Jennings; sister, Adriane Logan and step-father, Eugene L. Logan.
She is survived by her loving sons, Richard A. Murray, Jr. and wife, Beth and John A. Murray and wife, Heather; grandchildren, Cullen Murray, Jenna Murray, Autumn Murray, J. D. Murray, Ashley Davis, Brittney Storey and Ethan Crockett; great grandchildren, Clay Johnston, Kaylee Johnston, Wade Allen Murray, L. J. Davis, Josey Davis, Braxton Storey and Marley Storey; and a host of other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at 10 am at the Fellowship Cemetery in Warren with Dr. David Mahfouz officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 5 pm until 7 pm at Riley Funeral Home.
