Lee “LC” Charles O’Connor, 94, of Woodville passed away October 4, 2022.
Born March 15, 1928 in Port Arthur, Texas to Rudolph and Aubrey Rethke, he lived in Port Arthur before moving to Deer Park to work for Shell Oil Refinery. He also worked in real estate where he had an office in Deer Park. After retirement, he moved to Woodville to live in the country.
LC was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Aubrey Rethke, his wife, Imogene K. O’Connor and a daughter, Sharlene Skolaut.
He is survived by his daughter, Eileen Ford of Woodville; grandchildren Diane Deshotel of Silsbee, Steve Ford, Jr. of Woodville, Taylor Skolaut of Friendswood and Tiffaney; great grandchildren, Rissa Rushing of The Woodlands, Angel Deshotel of Silsbee; sister-in-law, Wanda Greer of College Station; brother-in-law, Melvin Marioneaux of Port Neches and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
