Laverne (Elmore) Walles

Laverne Elmore Walles, 91, of Orangefield, passed away on September 27, 2020. She was born on January 18, 1929 in Milford, Texas to William Arthur Elmore and Essie Yarborough Elmore. She was a very loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Laverne cared more about giving to others than she did about herself, and will be greatly missed everyone who knew her.

Laverne is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Jesse Ray Walles; children, Carol Merritt and husband C.J., Keith Maass and wife Hilda, Jerry Maass, Phillip Maass, Rose Jungman and husband Vick, and Michelle Walles; 22 Grandchildren; 32 Great-Grandchildren; sister, Doris Clanahan; brothers, Harold Elmore and Kenneth Elmore; and many nieces nephews and other family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Louanne Kyte, Bobby Elmore, Billy Elmore, Betty Cox and Frances Bell.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
