Katie Hutto Obituary

Katie Mae Hutto gained her angel wings and went to be with Jesus on Sunday, August 9, 2020 in Buna, Texas, where she resided with her daughter, Beverly Fregia and Son in law, James Fregia. Beverly and James were Katie’s loving caregivers for the past several years. They were her angels! Katie was preceded in death by her parents, Nena Faye and John Thomas King, her husband Floyd Hutto, her Bubba Jackie Wayne King and three infant brothers, William Thomas King, Charles Edward King and infant King. Katie is survived by her sisters and brother in laws, Mattie Blanche King Bryan of Grapevine,Texas, Margie Marie King Crawford and husband Governor Leon Crawford of Mont Belvieu, Texas and Nellie King Vinson and husband George W. Vinson of the Woodlands, Texas. She is survived by all three of her loving daughters, Lisa Nelson and husband Tobin of Colmesneil, Texas, Beverly Fregia and husband James of Buna, Texas and Billie Lilley and Ronald Sumner of Livingston, Texas. She is also survived by her nine Grandchildren who she was very proud of, Kenneth McDonald Jr. and family, Cody Nelson, Jessie Sarica and family, Wade Lilley and family, Wayne Lilley, Wesley Lilley and family, Cathy Walters and husband Wayne, Crystal Barefield and family, Jessie Barefield and family and Chris Fregia and family, along with 20 Great Grandchildren. It was with her sheer determination and strong faith in God that Katie truly defied all odds. She lived to be seventy seven years old when doctors said she would never live past eighteen years of age. She led an amazing life. Having cerebral palsy from birth made things more difficult physically. But Katie never let that stop her. She was very determined to do everything her brothers and sisters could do. And, she did! Katie was loved and treasured by her family and all who knew her. Katie truly loved as Jesus loves, unconditionally. She will be greatly missed! Fly high with the Angels, Katie
