Kathleen Harrell

Kathleen, beloved mother to Sheila, Jamie, and Melissa, passed away after a short battle with cancer on October 28, 2024, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

She was born in Beaumont, TX, in 1961 to WD and Verna Dykes, who preceded her in death, along with her Husband James Harrell and Grandson Chase Swain.  Kathy took special joy in all things nature, music, and had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters Sheila Swain and Husband Chris, Jamie Dykes, Melissa Guerin, and Husband Anthony; brothers Doug and Ted Dykes, along with their spouses Gloria and Kay. Kathy leaves behind Grandchildren Kolbi, James, Camron, and Brennan. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

A celebration of life is November 9, 2024, at 11 am Riley Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
