Kathleen (Kathy) Foret

Kathleen (Kathy) Foret, 80 of Warren passed away on June 12, 2024.

Born June 26, 1943, in Westwego, LA, and moved to Warren in 2004 to make it her home.  She loved to read and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Lena Herrmann; her father, Emil Herrmann, Sr. and her sisters, Barbara Hunter of Westwego and Linda Herrmann.

She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Roy Foret, Sr.; brothers, Brent Herrmann of Westwego and Emil Herrmann, Jr. of Louisiana; sisters, Cindy Herrmann of Robert, Louisiana and Lena Reiger and husband, Walter of Covington, Louisiana; daughters, Denise Cecil of Warren, Danielle Merriman and husband, Kenny of Dallas; Paula Jean Wells of Tennessee; sons, Scott Evanoff of Missouri, Roy Foret, Jr and wife, Melissa of Mississippi, Jason Foret of Hillister and Darrell Foret of Orange; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 2 pm at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 1 pm until 2 pm at the funeral home.
