Kathleen Emmons Bullock, 93, of the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation passed away December 13, 2020.
Born in Livingston, Tx to Jesse and Maggie Poncho, she lived in Polk County all of her life. She was retired from Champion Paper Mill. Kathleen was the oldest member of the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew and loved her.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Maggie Poncho; brother, Raymond Poncho; sisters, Dorothy Ragsdale, Carolyn Bullock; son, Brady Bullock, daughter Loretta Faye Williams; grandson, Randall Celestine, Granddaughter Delana Poncho; nephews, Morris Bullock, William Newton Bullock and Edmond Ray Poncho.
She is survived by her loving family, sons, Foster Bullock, Jr., Gary Bullock, Sr.and wife, Anita, Burton Timothy Bullock and wife, Tanya, Glendon Wayne Bullock and wife, Genny; daughters, Margaret Celestine, Othelda Jean Williams and husband, Danny, Lawrine Battise, Mavis Marroquin and husband, Joe; twenty-two grandchildren, sixty-six great grandchildren and twenty-two great, great grandchildren; Aunt to Maxine Silva, Melinda Sylestine, Sharon Sue Morris, Jennifer Poncho, Rodney Poncho and Roland Poncho along with numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at 10:30 am at the Alabama-Coushatta Cemetery with Evangelist Joe John officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 9 am until 10 am at Riley Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Silva, Dewayne Williams, George Flores, Patrick Battise, Roby Williams and Baxter Polite. Serving as honorary Veteran pallbearers will be Floyd Poncho and Roland Poncho, Honorary Mention Tribal Chief Pallbearers Chief Herbert Johnson, Sr. and Second Chief Donnis Battise.
