Joyce Ann Findley

 Joyce Ann Cox Findley changed her address from Woodville, Texas to the wonderful world of heaven on September 1, 2020.  She moved from pain to paradise, from struggling to streets of gold, from stress to sitting with the Savior.   She moved from misery in this world to being with her master, from worrying to worshiping at the wonderful makers feet.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 33 years, Brother Edwin Findley of Woodville; one daughter Teya Copier and Bobby Rogers of Ivanhoe; three sons, Shawn and Amy Stickle of Woodville, Josh Findley and Adrienne Batley of Nacogdoches, Eric Findley of Longview; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Joyce’s loving heart was for ten grandchildren,  Lexi and Kenneth Barry, Tristen and Aubree Stickle, Maddox Findley, Emmagrace Willhite, and Zach Singleton, Angel Findey,  Stormi Warren, Dillion and Tj Copier. Joyce is survived by six sisters: Shirley Clifford of Scotts City, Missouri, Debbie Kay Cox of Tamms, Illinois, Hester Hargrove of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, Marie Collins of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Amy Lee Day of Tamms, Illinois, and Mandy Schnepper of Mason, Illinois.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Patricia and Ernest Cox and sister, Susie Christensen.

Joyce was a preacher’s wife, who took care of everything behind the scenes, allowing her husband to carry out his calling.  She worked in the medical field for over 20 years.  She loved to cook for her grandchildren and go on cruises with her husband.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she was the back-up piano player. 

Visitation with be held Friday, September 4, 2020, from 5 pm until 8 pm  at Calvary Baptist Church, 911 North Magnolia, Woodville, Texas from 5pm to 8pm.  Joyce’s Celebration of Life Service will be at Calvary Baptist Church on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at  10 am .  Interment will be at Mt. Pisgah cemetery in Woodville, Texas.
