Johnny Jeffery Rushing

 Peacefully, surrounded in love and prayers Johnny Jeffery Rushing, 74 departed his earthly quest on Monday, September 6, 2021 with his beloved, Jenny at his side. 

Born and raised in Colmesneil, Johnny was a lifelong resident of Tyler County. 

Together he and Jenny shared 30 beautiful years of friendship, love and precious memories.  He was a true craftsman with wood work, and blessed his family and friends with treasures they will hold dear. He enjoyed fishing, sharing stories of past and present adventures, spoiling his beagles and teaching his grandchildren skills they will carry with them. His humor, friendship and love will be missed by all that love him. 

Johnny was a loving father to his three children; Cyndi (Johnny) Hensarling, Jeff (Didi) Rushing and Carrie Jane (Leap) Po; an exceptional grandfather to Whitney (Jesse) Evans, Jarod Hensarling, Josh (Alison) Hensarling, Kyra and Tasia Rushing, Ian and Mia Po, and doting great grandfather to Cole, Hunter, Ayla, Ryan, Josiah and Jensen.  

Johnny is survived by many loyal friends and numerous family members that he loved dearly. 

The family will receive close friends and family in an intimate memorial service Friday, September 10, 2021, at 11 am at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville, Texas.
