John Harvey Lemons, Jr., 90, of Hockley passed away January 21, 2025.
John was born September 27, 1934 in Hemphill, Texas to John and Edna Mae Lemons, he lived in Hockley for many years. He was retired from practicing law with his bachelor’s in mechanical engineering. He was a Korean war army veteran. Most importantly, he was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Lemons and his parents, John Harvey Lemons Sr. and Edna Mae Lemons.
John was survived by his loving children, Josh Lemons, Joseph and Carolyn, Lemons and Jalynne Lemons; grandchildren, Ethan and Kaylene Lemons, Brady Lemons, Cami Lemons, Brittany and Matt McVay, Jennifer and Brent Black, Lindy Brant and Chris Lemons, Jacob and Noelle Lemons, Elizabeth, Garrett, Lainey, Kallie, Avery, and Walker Geigley; great-grandchildren, Caden and Hunter Lemons, Rylee Quinn McVay, Julie Reyna Lemons, Weston Richard Black and a host of other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 08, 2025, at 11am at the Town Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 08, 2025, from 10 am until 11 am at the cemetery.
